Dr. Bilal Yassin, the Head of the Development and Training Academy (DTA), participated in the 15th International Conference on Interfaith Dialogue, held in the Qatari capital, Doha, on May 7th and 8th, in collaboration between the Doha International Center for Interfaith Dialogue and the Permanent Committee for Conferences Organization. This event provided a platform for exchanging views and experiences on the topic of "Religions and Youth Education in the Face of Contemporary Family Changes".
During the conference, Dr. Bilal Yassin met with Dr. Ibrahim Al Nuaimi, the President of the Doha Center for Interfaith Dialogue, and Dr. Mohammed Al Awadi, engaging in bilateral discussions addressing important issues related to enhancing and developing the role of the family amidst modern challenges. In this context, Dr. Yassin presented practical proposals to strengthen the role of the family, including activating training courses for youth preparing for marriage and leveraging past experiences. Additionally, he emphasized the activation of consultation roles through diverse media channels such as specialized radio stations, social media, and podcasts, aiming to enhance the role and cohesion of the family in society.
This conference is part of ongoing efforts to promote cultural and religious dialogue and activate the role of the family as a fundamental pillar in society.
