Professor Youssef Abdel Ghaffar's visit to the headquarters of the Development and Training Academy (DTA)
On Wednesday, July 30, 2025, the Development and Training Academy (DTA) received Professor Youssef Abdel Ghaffar, President of the Global Center for Sustainable Development, on an official visit aimed at enhancing cooperation in the fields of training, consulting, and sustainable development.
He was received by Dr. Bilal Yassin, President of the Academy, who welcomed Professor Abdel Ghaffar, describing his visit as "a valuable opportunity to exchange views and experiences on ways to integrate sustainability concepts into training and qualification programs."
During the visit, Professor Abdel Ghaffar was briefed on the Academy's programs and areas of work, and praised its qualitative efforts in capacity building and developing competencies in the region. Future avenues of cooperation between the Academy and the Global Center for Sustainable Development were also discussed, particularly in the areas of specialized training and implementing positive community initiatives.
At the conclusion of the meeting, it was agreed to initiate a joint cooperation partnership between the two parties, including the implementation of training programs and sustainable development projects that contribute to supporting the region's development agenda.
This visit comes within the framework of the Academy's keenness to build bridges of cooperation with leading institutions in the fields of development, and to enhance its role as a pioneering center in providing training programs with a developmental and strategic dimension.
